Today, Hyderabad: Bharasa, which is solving the problems in the assembly constituencies, is gearing up for the upliftment campaign. As the party is already ahead in the announcement of candidates, the party leader and Chief Minister KCR is writing a strategy to take the campaign to a new level. Especially from the 15th of this month to the 9th of November when KCR will make his nomination, he has decided to participate in 41 public meetings in about 17 days. To this extent, the party has released the CM election campaign schedule. The CM will participate in 26 public meetings before the nominations begin on November 3. Bharasa’s strategy is to heat up the field with whirlwind tours before the rival parties enter the campaign field.
KCR will hand over the B forms to his candidates on 15th of this month. On the same day, he will fill the election cone from the public meeting venue in Husnabad of Siddipet district. As it is the first public meeting to be held after the election schedule, Bharata is making arrangements to hold it in a dignified manner. Minister Harish Rao went to Husnabad on Tuesday and discussed the arrangements of the meeting with the leaders. Later, the party made a plan for consecutive CM public meetings from 16. On the occasion of Dussehra and Bathukamma festivals, they will take a break from 19th to 25th of this month and resume the campaign from 26th. Special attention will be given to some districts including Samman Khammam. After announcing the candidates, KTR and Harish Rao have already visited more than 50 constituencies and addressed the respective assemblies. Overall, it is known that the chief leaders are preparing plans to cover each constituency two or three times.
Overcoming problems
The Bharatiya Janata Party has focused on resolving issues such as unity among leaders in some constituencies and the MLAs not including all local leaders as soon as possible. Alerting the candidates by bringing reports through various channels from time to time. The party focused on the field level situation and worked to reduce the gaps between some MLAs and second-tier leaders. The campaign of the candidates is also closely monitored. It is known that for 119 seats, 115 candidates were announced in the third week of August. There are 104 MLAs including those who came from Bharata and other parties, out of which all but seven have been re-allocated tickets.
Among the four pending seats are Janagama and Narsapur, which have sitting MLAs from India. There was a delay in the announcement of the candidates here as these two MLAs pressed hard to give them tickets again. Janagama MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy was appointed as the RTC chairman after several discussions. Minister KTR recently finalized the candidature of Palla Rajeshwar Reddy after establishing an alliance between Janagama leaders. In Narsapur, it has been decided to give the ticket to Sunita Lakshmareddy, chairperson of the Women’s Commission, but the sitting MLA Madan Reddy is pressing to give it to her. Chief Minister KCR spoke to him. Here too reconciliation is being done and efforts are being made to announce the candidate. There is a possibility that the Beforms will be given to the candidates of the remaining two seats, Goshamahal and Nampally, on 15th of this month.
Focus on candidate behavior
The party leadership, which has analyzed the constituencies wise developments for the last month, has informed that opposition is being expressed against the MLAs in some constituencies. It is learned from the party sources that despite the positive attitude towards the schemes, government performance and the Chief Minister, the behavior of some MLAs, problems with the second-tier leaders, interference in the schemes etc. are troublesome. The Chief Minister also expressed his displeasure with the performance of some MLAs in previous meetings. Taking advantage of the given opportunity, he warned that he will not hesitate to change his candidature if he does not change his performance.
In this context, the party sources are of the opinion that even if there have been minor changes in the already announced candidates, they will not be surprised. It seems that these conditions exist in positions six and seven.. There is a chance to reconsider if there is a better alternative. It is said that changes can be possible only if the already selected candidates cooperate. However, in other constituencies there are also opinions that such efforts may not be made if new problems are introduced.
