Two more FIRs against Cow vigilante Puneeth Kerehalli

T he Upparpet police on Friday registered another FIR against cow vigilante for refusing to respond to the treatment and having food while he was in victoria hospital.

The accused Puneeth Kerehalli,arrested under Goonda Act and later let off due to lack of evidence,staged a hunger protest at freedom park demanding apology from the government on October 2.

Considering his health condition,the police forced him to get admitted to the hospital where Puneeth kerehalli continue with the hunger strike and also refused to respond to the medical treatment.

Police Sub Inspector,Prabhuswamy VB,when visited Puneeth,he demanded clarification from the government about the cases filed against him and reiterated that he would continue to fast unless he gets response from the court.

It may be recalled that Puneeth Kerehalli having 10 criminal cases against him including murdering a cattle trader,extortion,was arrested under Goonda act.

He challenged the order and got himself out and staged a hunger strike demanding apology from the government.

Senior BJP leaders including CT Ravi,and former police commissioner,Bhaskar Rao and leaders of pro Hindu outfit visited him to extend their support .

Puneeth Kerehalli was caught on Camera targetting government and instigating his visitors to set fire to buses and pelt stones at vidhana soudha to draw the attention of government .
