Two Notorious habitual offender hailing from Nepal arrested recovered stolen property worth Rs.10.3 lakhs

The Soladevanhalli police on Monday arrested two habitual offenders from Nepal involved in six house break thefts and recovered valuables worth Rs.10. 3 lakh from them.

Following a house break theft case reported in Dasenahalli cross in August 16,the police track down the accused through the CCTV footage and arrested them at their labour shed in Kittaganahalli in Avalahalli where the accused had stayed on rent.

Probe revealed that the accused Manoj Vishwakarma, 34,and his associate Rorka Vishvakarma,33 were haibtula offenders involved in series of theft cases.

Explaining the modus operandi of the accused,senior officer told reporters that the accused would come to city and work as security and other odd jobs in the day and recee at night to identify the locked houses.

After keeping a watch,the accused would break into the house and steal valuables.

The accused Manoj had worked in a hotel in Mumbai and using similar modus operandi,steal the valuables from a house near-by.He was arrested and after releasing from jail,he came to Bengaluru to join his associate.

Rorka had also arrested and jailed for a house break theft reported in Vidyaranyapura earlier this year he added.
