A 40-year-old man was run over by train while he was crossing the track near Aravantigepura railway gate in Anekal on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Ramu,native of Chitradurga and resident in Hebbagodi.Ramu was working in a packing section of food company .
According to the police, Ramu had come to attend a Dasara fair with friends and went to attend nature’s call after crossing the gate.
He was crossing the track when he failed to notice the goods train and run over.The Loco pilot noticed the man run over alerted the police.
The Byappanahalli police rushed to the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem while registered a case of un natural death. Police suspect that he was under the influence of alcohol and failed to notice the train.
