Run For Unity On Occasion Of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas
On the occasion of 141st Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel,the MARATHA LIRC organised a Run for Unity at Belagavi Military Station as part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas,paying homage to the visionary who immensely contributed towards Unified India.
Often referred to as the ‘Iron Man of India,he played a pivotal role in the Country’s Independence Movement and Post-Independence Integration.
The Run for Unity was a fitting tribute to his legacy which exemplified the spirit of unity that Sardar Vallabhai Patel had championed.
The run witnessed participation of all ranks and families and showcased togetherness thus reflecting the Unity in Diversity of the country.
The event showcased the enduring significance of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s vision for a united India and how his contributions continue to inspire the Nation.
This Run for Unity was a symbolic act of honoring a great leader and recommitting to the ideals of unity and integrity that he held dear.The Indian Army remains committed to honouring and promoting the legacies of the Nation’s Great Leaders.
