hief Minister Siddaramaiah arrived in Gadag to take part in “Kannada Sambhram-50″program and took darshan of Lord Narayana at Veeranarayana temple.
Later,the CM joined the Kannada Ratha procession which was marched amidst cheers of Kannada activists carrying “Arishina-Kumkam” colored flags, kalashas and Kannada shawls.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s fans and activists welcomed the Kannada Ratha with flowers as it passed through the main roads of Gadag.
Along the road,Kannada rangoli and flags in front of the houses were attractive, while women and children showered flowers on the chariot and did abhishekam to the wheels of the chariot with fruits and milk.
DCM DK Shivakumar, District In-charge Minister HK Patil, Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Mankala Vaidya and many other leaders were present in the procession.
