n a major embarrassment to former chief minister and JDS president,HD Kumaraswamy,the Bescom vigilance wing booked him for stealing electricity to decorate his house in JP Nagar for Deepavali on Tuesday.
V.Prashanth Kumar assistant executive engineer has filed a complaint with Jayanagar station charging kumaraswamy for stealing power .
The ruling congress took this opportunity to pull kumaraswamy stating that he could have enrolled himself in gruhajyothi free power scheme rather than stealing power.
Reacting to the jibe, Kumaraswamy clarifies in his social media account said that drawing power for the decoration without required permission is due to negligence.I’ll pay the fine since it’s a violation,he said
