The West Division police have registered an case against a man for blackmailing a woman for extortion after meeting her on matrimonial site.
The accused Talluri Aravind Choudhary,met the victim online and exchanged details and phone numbers.The duo started chatting after the accused proposed to marry her.
The accused even recorded the private photos and videos of the victim after accessed her social media account and started to blackmail her.
Scared victim even paid him ransom of Rs.1.5 lakh but when the accused demands become unbearable,the victim approached the police and filed a complaint.
Based on the complaint,the police have registered an FIR against Choudhary charging him under blackmail, extortion and also under various sections of the IT act.
