multi storeyed plastic godown situated in Kumbarapet was gutted due to accidental fire broke out on Sunday afternoon.
The fire broke out at basement spread to the other parts before fire and emergency service personnel rushed to the spot.
Over 12 fire tenders with 70 fire and emergency service personnel rushed to the spot and after 10 hours of struggle managed to put out the fire on Monday morning.
The godown belonging to to Adil,to store electronic goods and toys worth several lakhs gutted.No one was injured in the fire accident, the police,said.
