The Kothanur police have arrested two construction labourer from Jharkhand for killing their 22-year-old friend over a trivial row over drunken brawl.
The accused Jagdev and Chandan Kumar were caught within 24 hours after the murder was reported,before they could board a train to their native .
Senior officer told reporters the trio had come to city and were daily wage workers.They were staying in a rented house in Bhairati along with others.
On Thursday,they partied along with others and got drunk.In an inebriated state the deceased Lakshman Manjhi started to humiliate and abuse the accused in front of others.
He would do the same with the accused even at heir native and continue his behaviour .
Enraged by this the accused decided to kill him and followed Manjhi while he was returning home from party.
The duo confronted him at an isolated place and beat him before crushing his head with a cement brick.They left the body backside of Narayana PU college and escaped .
