Private firm employee arrested under cheating for masking his registration number plate in Bengaluru

The JB Nagar traffic police booked a 22-year-old private firm employee under cheating for plying his scooter by masking his registration number plates to hoodwinking enforcement cameras.

The accused has been identified as,Channabasava, resident of New Thippasandra had pasted a sticker on the backside registration number plate to hide few numbers and moving around to avoid fines through enforcement cameras.

Based on a complaint filed by a member of general public, the JB Nagar traffic police track down the accused and booked him under cheating and seized his bike.

The case was further referred to the jurisdictional Byappanahalli police for further investigations.

The traffic police have launched a drive against the motorists and booking cases against them for masking the registration plates.
