Prime accused and her associate granted conditional bail in Rs.5 crore BJP ticket fraud case

Right-wing activist Chaitra K,prime accused of cheating a businessman promising MLA ticket for Rs.5 crore from BJP party,has been granted bail along wit her associate Srikanth on Tuesday.

Encashing her proximity with the BJP and RSS leader, Chaitra and her associates Lured Govindababu Pujary and taken 5 crore from him promising Ticket to contest MLA seat from his home constituency and cheated .

Based on the complaint, the CCB arrested Chaitra in September 12 from Udupi along with her associates.

The police questioned her in detail before filing charge-sheet and seizure of money and valuables which she had purchased out of the cheated money.

She along with her associates filed bail application before the Metropolitan magistrate and the court granted conditional bail to them.

The duo had furnished two sureties along with Rs.2 lakh bond each and agreed to the condition that she would not influence the witnesses in the case in anyways .
