The Central cyber crime police are on the lookout for the person who accessed into the video-conference (VC) online streaming of court proceedings and played pornographic video contents on Monday in about six court halls.
Based on the complaint filed by N Suresh,registrar (computers),the police have registered an FIR against unknown person charging him under section 67 (publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form) and 67(a) (Punishment for publishing or transmitting of material containing sexually explicit act )on Monday.
The incident occurred between 10 am to 2 pm at court hall 6,12,18,23,24,26 and other courts and the accused logged in unauthorisedly and uploaded obscene videos.
Due to which the proceeding was called off immediately and the administration was alerted .
The officials track down the IP address and handed over to the police for further investigations,.
A team of police swung into action and trying to track down the accused.Meanwhile similar attempt was made on Tuesday morning during online proceeding following which the proceeding was suspended temporarily.
The police officials termed it was a deliberate attempt to hacking after the email threat to schools.The police have obtained the IP address of both the incidents for further investigations.
