21-year-old home maker was killed on the spot and her 1.5 year old daughter and husband escaped narrowly when the scooter they were riding lost control after brushed with a moving BMTC from wrong side at the entrace of Silk Board flyover from Bommanahalli on Wednesday evening.
The deceased Seema,a native of VIjayapura was married to Gurumurthy,a BESCOM lineman,2.5 years ago.The couple had daughter.
According to the police,the couple were heading to shopping on their scooter when Gurumurthy in order to negotiate a jam tried to overtake the bus from left side.
He soon lost control when the bus started moving as Seema riding pillion fell under the backside of the moving wheels and crushed to death.
Sensing trouble the driver and conductor escaped after abandoning the bus.
The Madiwala traffic police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital and seized the bus for further investigations.
