The Hosakote police cracked the murder case of an elderly couple and arrested their daugher-in-law and her two children for killing them in cold blood over property row .
The accused Bhagyamma,was upset that in-laws refused to sell part of the land to bail out the son from a financial problem,he had incurred .
Enraged by this Bhagyamma roped in her daughter Varsha,18, an engineering student and 14-year-old son to execute the plan and eliminate the couple .
As per the plan Varsha overpowered and pin down the elderly couple,while Bhagyamma attacked them with iron rod striking on their head one by one killing them on the spot on Saturday .
The son student of 9th standard stood guard outside the house to check anyone coming and to caution them.
After killing the couple the accused returned home and informed Narasimhamurthy about it .
When the police took over the investigations they zeroed in on Narasimhamurthy and his wife based on the suspicion of the daughter in her complaint.
A Detailed questioning led them to confess to the crime.Narasimhamurthy has also been booked for abetting to murder.
While the couple and daughter has been taken into custody for further investigation,the boy has been produced before the JJ board and remanded to state home for the boys .
