The Hulimavu police on Thursday arrested a 25-year-old woman for stabbing her husband to death over a domestic row at their house on Wednesday night.
The deceased identified as Umesh Dhami,working as security guard at a private college was living with his wife Manisha Dhami,a domestic help.The couple are from Nepal and living in a rented house.
Senior officer said Umesh Dhami used to come home drunk and fight with wife frequently.On Wednesday he returned in an inebriated state and found her talking to someone over phone .
Heated argument ensued after UMesh accused her of having an affair .
In the melee,Manisha stabbed him with as knife and killed him on the spot .Neighbours hearing the commotion alerted the police who rushed to the spot and arrested Manisha before shifting the body of Umesh for post-mortem.
A case of murder has been registered against her for further investigation.
