The Madanayakanahalli police on Friday arrested a gang of four juvenile for their involvement in series of robbery and theft cases reported in the outskirts of the city .
The accused aged 15 and 16 years used to move in bikes targeting labourers from other states staying in under construction houses and industrial area.
The accused attack them before robbing their valuables.
The accused attacked a group of labourers from UP at an industrial area in Kadabagere cross in Madanayakanahalli police station limits on Tuesday, assaulted them with lethal weapons before robbing five mobile phones and cash Rs.8,500 from them.
Based on the complaint,the police track down the accused with the help of CCTV footage and arrested them.
Among the accused is a student while three others working a daily wage labourers .
The accused are habitual offenders arrested for similar offence and remanded to government home for boys. After released from the rehabilitation centre the accused continue with their criminal activities,Mallikarjuna Baladandi,Superintendent of Police,told Media persons.
With their arrest the police solved 10 criminal cases reported in the outskirts of the city ,he said .
