The villagers shouted slogans accusing the department mismanagement in relocating the veterinary hospital to kanakapura citing a private survey.

The Vet hospital serving 17 villagers in and around and was very helpful for the farmers and the people having pets at home.

The government based on a private survey conducted last month shifted the hospital and the staff and asking the villagers to go to vet hospital in Varthur, which is 15 kilometers away.

The Halanayakanahalli village alone has around 1500 cattle including buffalos and cows apart from 3,000 goats and sheep and also pet animals which are availing service from the doctors and staff which are helpful .

This apart people from 17 villagers situated in and around the area were availing the service are now left in lurch .

The department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service has carried out a private survey which falsely claimed that there are no adequate animals in the area for the vet hospital and shifted .

We demand the government and the department concerned to review the issue and get the hospital back to its position, failing which the protest at each village will be intensified from Tuesday,he added .
