alda Town–SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Inaugural Special Reached SMVT Bengaluru today.Prime Minister of India had flagged off this train on 30th December through video link.

The train which departed from Malda Town on 30.12.2023 and reached SMVT Bengaluru today.

Lok Sabha Member,P.C.Mohan,and A Devegowda MLC welcomed the Inaugural Special.

Yogesh Mohan,Divisional Railway Manager,Bengaluru Division,Smt.Kusuma Hariprasad,Additional Divisional Railway Manager and other Railway Officers were present on the occasion.

The Inaugural special which started from Malda Town ran up to SMVT Bengaluru via New Farakka,Gumani, Rampurhat,Bolpur Shantiniketan,Barddhaman,Dankuni, Bhattanagar,Andul,Kharagpur,Belda,Jaleswar,Balasore, Soro,Bhadrak, Cuttack,Bhubaneswar,Khurda Road, Brahmapur,Palasa,Srikakulam,Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam,Duvvada,Tuni,Samalkot,Rajahmundry, Eluru,Vijayawada,Tenali,Chirala, Ongole,Nellore,Gudur, Renigunta,Katpadi and Jolarpettai.

Public and Children received the train at enroute stations with overwhelming joy.

Amrit Bharat trains a new gift for the countrymen in Amrit Kal Prime Minister of India flagged off two Amrit Bharat trains on 30.12.2023.

Amrit Bharat super-fast express services have been introduced for intercity travel.This marks a significant stride in modernizing train travel in the country.

One train runs from Ayodhya Dham Jn to Darbhanga and the other from Malda Town to SMVT Bengaluru. The two trains which run on busy routes make the journey seamless and enjoyable.

Two WAP-5 Locomotives are used in Amrit Bharat Trains one at the front and the other at the rear end.

This push-pull configuration ensures efficient acceleration and eliminates the need of switching locomotives at Stations.

This leads to reduction in travel time This innovative approach will offer a unique blend of speed,efficiency, comfort and affordability to passengers.

Amrit Bharat trains will have a composition of 12 Three Tier Second Class Sleeper coaches, 8 General Second Class Coaches and 2 Second Class sitting for disabled cum Luggage Vans.

The trains have been planned to operate as a day-night express service, catering to the demand of travel between large cities and small towns.

The train set is a make in India innovation of Indian Railways. The Push-Pull locomotives are being manufactured at Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Chittaranjan,one of the largest locomotive manufacturing units in India.

The coaches are being produced by Integrated Coach Factory, Chennai, the world’s largest Railway Passenger Rolling Stock manufacturer.

The collaborative effort of the production Units of Indian Railways will ensure that both the driving engine and compartment unit are crafted with precision and efficient service.

Train No.13434 Malda Town – SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Amrit Bharat Express departs from Malda Town at 08.50 hrs on Sundays to reach SMVT Bengaluru at 03.00 hrs on Tuesdays.

In the return direction, Train No.13433 SMVT Bengaluru – Malda Town Weekly Amrit Bharat Express departs from SMVT Bengaluru at 13.50 hrs on Tuesdays to reach Malda Town at 11.00 hrs on Thursdays.

The train will have stoppages at New Farakka,Gumani, Rampurhat,Bolpur Shantiniketan,Barddhaman, Dankuni, Bhattanagar,Andul, Kharagpur, Belda, Jaleswar, Balasore, Soro, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Tuni, Samalkot,Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi and Jolarpettai.

The First regular service of the train from Malda starts on 07.01.2024 and from SMVT Bengaluru on 09.01.2024
