A 21-year-old youth was stab to death while a BBA student ended her life in separate incidents during new year day celebrations on Sunday.

er told reporters,A 21-year-old Vijay,a private firm employee and resident of Banashankari went out of the house to celebrate new year with friends .
The group got drunk and had an heated argument over some issue.In the melee,the accused stabbed Vijay pushed him out of the autorickshaw and fled the scene .
The profusely bleeding Vijay succumbed to his injuries on the spot before passers-by came to his help,The Hanumantha Nagar police rushed to the spot and initiated probe to identify the accused .
In another incident,a 21-year-old BBA student ended her life following a altercation with her family members in Sudhamanagar in Wilson Garden on Sunday evening.
The deceased Varshini,student of a private college in Jayanagar was also a budding photographer wanted to photo shoot at the malls during new year celebration, for which her family did not gave permission despite repeated request and arguments with them.
Depressed Varshini,went into the room and hung herself.The family members tried to rescue her but in vain.The Wilson Garden police have registered a case of un-natural death and are investigating.
