Chain snatcher & his associate caught red-handedly by alert Magadi Road Traffic Cops

n a swift action,a traffic policeman on duty chased and caught an autorickshaw driver and his associate while they were trying to flee after snatching a gold chain from a woman on the busy Magadi road on Monday.

The victim was walking when the accused snatched her chain and tried to flee.The woman raised alarm seeking help from the passers-by.

Assistant Sub Inspector,Ramachandra and Woman Police Constable,Sandhya attached to Magadi road traffic police station,were on their routine duty when they heard passers-by raising alarm pointing towards the autorickshaw which was passing-by.

Immediately Mr.Ramachandra and woman police constable ran behind the autorickshaw and confronted the driver and dragged him out and recovered the robbed gold chain.

The entire incident was caught on his body worn camera which went viral on social media after city police commissioner B.Dayananda shared it his account in appreciation .

The accused vijay,26,and his associate Senthil, 42 have been handed over to the Magadi road law and order police for further investigations.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,B Dayananda,Joint CP Traffic,MN Anucheth,DCP Traffic West,Anitha B Haddanavar,ACP,Ramesh GR,PI, Santhosh Kumar D,has appreciated ASI, Ramachandra,and woman Police constable,Ms.Sandhya M Rathod for their proactive and timely action in nabbing the chain snatcher and his associates when they were trying to escape in an autorickshaw a dramatic chase by the ASI and Women police constable apprehended him red handed and recovered to the chain of women and later handed over to Magadi road law and order for further investigation and both the ASI and Women police constable among 123 police personnel received appreciation certificate in the 1st service parade of city police commissioner B Dayananda.
