Five die in separate road accidents in Bengaluru

A 22-year-old private firm employee was killed on the spot when a speeding BMTC bus knocked his motorcycle down on Uttarahalli main road on Monday.

The deceased identified as Tejas,was on his way to work when the speeding bus in a bid to overtake him knocked down his motorcycle.Tejas lost control and came under the rare wheel of the bus killing on the spot.

The Kengeri traffic police rushed to the spot,arrested the driver charging him under rash and negligent driving and death due to negligence and seized the bus for further investigation.

In another incident,a 26-year-old private firm employee was killed and the pillion rider injured when the bike they were travelling lost control and crashed into barricade in Kote cross near Devanahalli on Moday.

The duo was heading to Nandi hills when the accident occurred.The injured Sakib was admitted to hospital and said to be critical.The Devanahalli police have registered a case and are investigating .

In another incident,a 51-year-old farmer identified as Narayanaswamy,was killed when a speeding car knocked him down while he was crossing the road on Devanahalli on Sunday evening.

A 36-year-old car driver identified as Raju,was killed after he lost control and rammed into road divider on Dinnur main road in Rt Nagar on Sunday night.The RT Nagar traffic police have taken up a case of self accident for further investigation.

A 53-year-old Motorcycle rider was killed after he lost control over the bike he was riding and slipped on the road in Kirloskar layout in Peenya on Sunday.

The deceased Sunil Kumar,was returning home.The Severely injured Sunil Kumar was taken to the hospital where he was declared as brought dead .
