Staring that it was impossible to get justice for the sexually assaulted victims from local police of various districts,former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai demanded that a Special Investigation Team be constituted to probe the gang rape incidents.
Addressing a press conference at the party office here on Saturday, he wanted the government to get the incidents investigated by the senior police officers; complete it within the stipulated time and then file a charge sheet to ensure the maximum punishment for the accused.
So far,only three persons have been arrested in connection with the Haveri incident and why not all the miscreants.
The BJP women’s delegation would visit Haveri to collect information.The court also would be requested to seek a proper inquiry.
He said law and order machinery has collapsed completely in the State and the common people including women were unable to move freely.The women come out and move in fear.The government has failed to take serious note of the same.
In Bengaluru alone the crime against women has increased by 30 per cent.Rape,extortion and violence have increased.Women were not safe even in rural areas.Many cases pertaining to women have been hushed up.
The police have become the mute spectators.The government’a bad eye falls on those cops who act according to law.
Even while the Belagavi session was going on, a woman in a village near the Suvarna Soudha had been allegedly beaten up and stripped in public.
This shows that the miscreants have no fear of the government or the police.Is visiting the hospital to meet the victim sufficient?So far,proper inquiry has not been done and many accused were still at large.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah hasn’t taken any step despite such a thing has happened to a dalit woman. Has Home Minister Dr G.Parameshwar given instructions to the police to book the cases by seeing the xommo?.
A section of the community in Haveri feels that none can touch them.There has been moral policing everywhere.
A lady from Sirsi and another lady in Hangal had been allegedly gangraped after beating up by miscreants in two separate incidents.The Haveri police tried to supress it.
The cops were so adamant about the incident.I demanded the medical test of the victim. I didn’t know whom they are trying to protect?.
Is there is any special rule for the Minority community? Who is behind this incident and who is putting pressure on the police? .
The home minister was not ready for a stern action against the perpetrators of the crime on a Minority community women.Dr Parameshwara was bothered only about the rich and influential.
The BJP leader said the rural police stations have become the collection addas and in some places,the police inspectors were encouraging all illegal activities in their limits.

In Kolar,a five-year old girl had been sexually assaulted by five persons and she was undergoing treatment.The similar gang had gangraped a Minority community woman in Haveri.
Why the CM Siddaramaiah has been silent in this incident.The Congress Party didn’t have faith in law. Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Shivakumar defended the attackers of KJ Halli and DJ Halli police stations as innocents.This was nothing but the Minority appeasement.
Bommai said the Siddaramaiah government failed to place the real financial position picture before the Finance Commission.
Around one lakh crore was expected from the 14th Finance Commission but time limitn had not been fixed. Before that the government was claiming of injustice to the state.
