CB officials on Friday conducted surprise checks at the bookie counters in BTC and confiscated cash worth Rs.3.4 Crore rupees and documents .
The raids were carried on the complaint that excess ticket amount is being collected from people visiting BTC .
There were also allegations that these counters are also cheated the state exchequer by avoiding GST.
Many counters have been raided and documents seized which is under verification.
