Conman posing as spritual healer duped a home maker promising to ward off evil and blackmailed her demanding ransom

The Jalahalli police have registered an FIR against conman who posing as spiritual healer duped a home maker promising to ward off evil and later blackmailed her for ransom .

Based on a complaint filed by Tania,25,a resident of Jalahalli, the police have registered a case against the accused identified as Ahmed Dalvi alias Liyakhathulla Khan charging him under various sections of IT act and also under cheating .

The victim suspected that she and her family was victim of black magic and googling to find the person who can help.

The accused approached her and sought the personal details and photographs of her and her family members.

He later confirmed that there was a black magic cast her on and assured to help.He initially took Rs.501 as token amount and later forced her to transfer Rs.2.3 lakh and Rs.1.6 lakh in different dates .

The victim got suspicion that the accused was always demanding money and not doing any work,the victim questioned him.

Enraged by this the accused started blackmailing her with personal details and threatened to share her photos on social media and took Rs.4.16 lakh from her.

When the accused started demanding for money money, unable to bear the harassment the victim approached the police .
