n order to enhance the law enforcement capabilities the state police has introduced AI enabled policing technology, which according to the officials is the milestone for the police department in the country.
The technology apart from enhancing the efficiency will provide quick redressal of issues with multi dimensional analysis of the incident,integrating with the existing Mobile Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (MCCTNS) system.
This is going to help smart decision making through historical data analysis.
Apart from this features the KSP.AI,technology will help in predictive policing,with utilization of predictive crime hotspots and helps allocate resource effectively .
The technology will also real time insight by providing instant access to relevant information and video analytics .
The technology can also access to automate routine task such as license plate recognition and provide more strategic roles .
The system can also helps to reduce bias in decision making and contribute to safer community.This technology is probably the first in the country implemented in the state,a senior police officer,said.
The state police IT wing in collaboration with a leading Tech company has adopted many innovative technologies under Police IT to enhance policing effectively .
Many of the initiative including real time data access , spot reporting of incidents,digital evidence management and predictive policing are being used .
