A gang of four men robbed a 27-year-old B Tech student and made away with his wrist watch also forced to pay cash Rs.1000 online near Domlur flyover on Monday night .
The victim,Aditya Abhiraj,resident of Koramangala was preparing for the competitive exam and returning home on his motorcycle after visiting his friend’s house in Marathahalli .
While he reached Domlur flyover at around 11.30 pm, the accused intercepted him in a car.One of them pulled out iron rod and grabbed Aditya by his collar demanding to handover money.
When Aditya said he did not have any cash with him, the accused snatched his wrist watch and forced him to pay one of them online Rs.1,000.
The accused sped away in the car leaving the victim stunned for few seconds.After recovering from the shock,the victim reached the police station and filed the complaint.
The Halasuru police have registered a case of robbery and trying to track down the accused through payment transactions.
