A 40-year-old woman tailor was killed after a speeding goods vehicle knocked her down on Uttarahalli main road on Saturday.
The deceased Manjamma,a native of Mandya and resident of K Gollarahalli was riding scooter when a speeding goods vehicle knocked her down.
Manjamma lost control,slipped under the moving wheels and crushed to death.
The Kengeri traffic police have registered a case of death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving against the driver for further investigations.
