he Railway police on Thursday arrested two persons involved in series of chain snatching from the train passengers to repay the loan.
The accused K Balaji,24 and Kamalanathan SK,42 are from Chennai and KGF working in a catering firm.The duo had borrowed huge personal loan and failed to repay.
In order to return the loan,they planned to rob woman passengers.The accused would get into the train identify the target and snatch the chain before jumping out of the slow moving train.
Based on a complaint lodged by one of the victim in January 18,a special team of police has been formed who track down the accused and arrested them.
The police recovered 129 grams of gold chain worth Rs. 4.3 lakh from them.
