Kolkata:The entire country condemns the ‘Khalistani’ remark on the IPS officer.Rahul Gandhi also slammed the BJP’s “divisive” politics.
“Those who are blinded by the poison of divisiveness cannot see the army or the farmers.They have no respect for the khaki uniform.
”BJP workers including Suvendu Adhikari,Shankar Ghosh,Agnimitra Paul were stopped at Dhamakhali on their way to Sandeshkhali.
At the same time,Section 144 was imposed in 12 places of Sandeshkhali A scuffle broke out between BJP workers and police in Dhamakhali. The BJP workers allegedly called Special Superintendent of Police (SP) of the Intelligence Branch Jaspreet Singh a ‘Khalistani’.
Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari and MLA Agnimitra Paul have been accused of this.The whole country has come out against this sarcasm.
In an X-handle,former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said, “The seeds of hatred sown by the BJP for political gains have spread across the country.
Those who are blinded by the poison of divisiveness cannot see the army or the farmers.They have no respect for the khaki uniform.
“The entire country is with IPS Jaspreet Singh.”Not only Rahul,but Leader of Opposition in Punjab and Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Akali Dal supremo Bikram Singh Majithia have also raised their voice in protest.
West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee strongly condemned on the “ Khalistani” remark of Suvendu and his party members.
