*Not inviting President to the inauguration of the new Parliament is an insult to the President and the highest post: CM.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed outrage over not inviting Honorable President Draupadi Marmu to the inauguration of the new Parliament and said that it was an insult to the President and the highest post.
He questioned this while replying to the debate on the Governor’s address in the Legislative Council.
CM Siddaramaiah challenged the BJP members saying, “Give back our money that should come from the centre to the state:
I will salute you hundred crore times.Leader of the opposition Kota Srinivas Poojari intervened and said, ‘We don’t want your Koti Namaskaras. But he deviated from the topic by saying ‘stop addressing the Prime Minister and the President singularly.
Reacting to this, the Chief Minister said that he used the singular by slip of the tongue while mentioning the insult done by the BJP to the Hon’ble President. ‘I have expressed my regret immediately’
However,is it not an insult to President Draupadi Marmu and the post of President, not being invited to the inauguration of the new Parliament? He questioned if the insult to the President was right.
