Kolkata:The Trinomul Congress will be organising a mega rally at the iconic Brigade Ground of Kolkata on 10th March after long five years.
The agenda is to protest against BJP led Central Government for continuously blocking the state funds.
The most eye-catching thing about the brigade this time is the ramp for the first time! In all the rallies of political parties so far, this ramp has never been seen. On March 10,TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee and the party’s national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee will walk the ramp and address the crowd. The ramp is connected to the main stage.
As a result, starting the speech on the stage, the leaders can reach the crowd over the ramp. The Brigade has never had this ramp in the number of times the TMC has held rallies before. This time it was done.
This ramp has been designed in such a way that the crowd gathered at the brigade ground can see the leadership very closely and hear the speech.
The stage is being decorated in the form of Trinamool’s party symbol Joraphul. That is,the flag given by the party symbol will be shouldered and the fight will be carried out, that message will be highlighted.
Two more stages have been built next to the main stage.Party representatives, leaders and office bearers will sit at different stages.
In all, there will be 600 leaders on three stages.Mamata and Abhishek will make some important announcements from the stage.
Representatives of the TMC from different states will come to the brigade stage.Ripun Bora,Sushmita Dev, Mukul Sangma,Laliteshpati Tripathi,Saket Gokhale,Kirti Azad,Shatrughan Sinha,Sagarika Ghose and others will be on stage.
The Trinamool Brigade has called for a public meeting to protest the central deprivation of various projects. Therefore, the workers who are victims of central deprivation of 100 days of work will also be on the stage.
The TMC’s voice is that the BJP’s zamindari will not work. The roar of the brigade will reach as far as Delhi. The TMC leadership expects more than 20 lakh people to gather around the Brigade Maidan.
Workers from different districts of North Bengal have started arriving in Kolkata since Friday.Thousands of TMC workers from Jalpaiguri,Behar and Alipurduar are heading towards Kolkata.
The TMC had requested for two special trains. But despite taking advance money for the train,it was later cancelled.
As a result, the TMC has arranged enough buses for the workers to come to Kolkata.Over 400 buses will come to Kolkata from different districts of North Bengal.
The TMC leadership claimed that the biggest political rally in eastern India will be held at the Brigade Maidan on Sunday.
