hief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the BJP has believed in the dictatorial attitude and has hatched a conspiracy to change the constitution.
He was speaking to the media today,Reacting to MP Anant kumar Hegde’s repeated statement about change of constitution,the CM said that ‘he had said this earlier even when he was a Union Minister.
This is a conspiracy of the BJP. He has spoken unnecessarily about the constitution.A two-thirds majority is required for the government to make any kind of change in the constitution.
BJP does not need a majority for the prosperity of the country and the poor,instead they need a majority to change the constitution.
It is BJP’s hidden agenda to change the constitution according to Manusmriti.So the poor,backward, minorities of the entire country,should oppose this idea of BJP.
If the constitution is changed,there will be bloodshed in this country.Therefore,Narendra Modi is expressing his thoughts through Anant kumar, he said.
*Intention to change the Constitution -not a personal statement:
Responding to BJP’s statement that Ananth Kumar’s statement is personal,the CM said that ‘will the statement of Ananth Kumar, a senior leader who was in the cabinet and a sitting MP, be personal? .
They have no faith in democracy but intend to implement the principles of manusmriti.But our constitution has the principle of building an egalitarian society,where freedom,equality and fraternity play an important role’,he said.
Responding to the release of the Congress’second list for the Lok Sabha elections,the CM said the screening Committee meeting is being held today and recommendations will be made.Decision will be taken by the National Election Committee,he said.
*Own building to Food department which implements Annabhagya:
To facilitate all the functions of the Food Department Department under one roof,the foundation stone for ‘Ahaara Soudha’ has been laid today.
He said that Annabhagya Guarantee Scheme is being implemented by the food department itself,which is one of the important departments of the government.
