A 19-year-old engineering student found dead under mysterious circumstances in a private college campus situated in the outskirts of Doddaballapura on Tuesday.

The deceased Dasari Brahmasai Reddy,native of Karnool was pursuing first year B tech at Geetham University,computer Science living in the hostel situated in the college campus.

He was returning to his room after dinner when he fell from the 6th floor of the building and crashed.

The staff and others rushed him to a private hospital where the doctor declared him as brought dead.

The Management did not inform the police nor the parents of Dasari,the police,said.

Based on the complaint from the parents the Doddaballapura rural police have taken a case of un natural death and also charged the management and the civil contractor under death due to negligence for further investigations.

There was heavy construction activities was going on in the campus which houses around 5,000 students.

The management did not provided any safety measures for the students and staff and due to academic pressure the students were said to be under heavy pressure,a senior officer,said.

In addition to heavy pressure and non-conducive atmosphere the college has one counsellor for over 5,000 students, the police, said .

In the last four months,as many as three students ended their lives.The students alleged pressure harassment and drug menace in the campus.
