A 25-year-old security guard was killed after a speeding goods vehicle knocked him down in Yelahanka police station limits on Tuesday night.
The deceased Jayadev,a native of Uttar Pradesh working at a private firm was returning home from work,when the speeding truck knock down his motorcycle.
Jayadeva sustained severe head injuries and rushed to a near-by private hospital where he succumbed.
The Yelahanka traffic police have registered a case against the goods driver for further investigations.
