Dejected over break up a 20-year-old youth ended his life by hanging at Nanjapura village in Hebbagodi police station limits on Monday.
The deceased Harshith was in relationship with a Megha,from his neighbourhood.
Native of Tumakuru Megha had come to her uncle’s house for studies one and half years ago.The duo were in relationship for sometime after which Megha’s family members came to know about following which Megha break up with Harsith.
When Harshith tried to convince Megha,the family members threatened him with dire consequences while a relative of Megha also called up Harshith claiming to be fiancee and warned harshith to stay away from Megha.
Dejected over this,Harshith while he was alone at home,slashed his wrist with a blade before sending the clip to his parents and to Megha before hanging himself .
Shocked parents who had gone outside by the time returned home,it was too late .
Based on the complaint by parents of Harshith,the Hebbagodi police have taken up a case of abetment to suicide for further investigation.
