he KR Puram police have registered a case of murder against a 24-year-old woman who strangled her two-year-old daughter to death before attempted to end life by slashing her throat over a domestic row with her husband in KR Puram police station limits on Saturday.
The police are awaiting the recover of the accused Chinna to take her into custody for further investigations .
The accused Chinna and husband Lakshmi Narayana native of Chittoor and came to Seegehalli in KR Puram three months ago in search of work and lived in a rented house .
In a complaint Lakshmi Narayana said that the accused was having suicidal tendencies ue to health issue and fight with him frequently and threatened to kill baby and end life.Lakshni Narayana used to pacify her .
On March 17,when husband went to temple to pray for her wrl being Chinna called her mother at her native and informed that she is going to die and kill the baby.
Worried mother called Lakshmi Narayana who rushed home and with the help of neighbours broke open the locked door to find the duo in a pool of blood.
The duo was rushes to a near-by hospital where the doctor declared the girl Shratika as dead while Chinna was critical and being treated at ICU.
