The cubbon park police are on the lookout for a cash custodian who is on the run with Rs.2.5 Crore.
Based on the complaint of Mallikarjun,an employee of Hitachi cash management service,the police charged Suman M with cheating and criminal breach of trust for further investigation.
Suman was assigned to deposits cash in ATMs in and around MG road.
The accused left with armed guard Bholanath das and driver Fazal Hussain after depositing few lakh cash the accused was left with Rs.2.57 Crore told his colleagues that he has a family emergency as someone close to him expires and he needs to go.
The accused then convinced his colleagues that would returned the cash to the company before going on leave,but it was just a hoodwink.
The fraud was realised when the colleague returned to office and reported the matter to the management tried to check with Suman but his mobile was out of the coverage area.
After repeated attempts the company approached police .
