The government has extended his tenure despite his differing political views and official positions within the opposition party.
The Government of India has acknowledged his work ethic and contributions to the concerned department.
Additionally,he has recently been appointed as the Asian Co-ordinator for the Global Catholic Council.
Previously, he held positions as a Director for Africa in an UN-affiliated organization and he was honoured Human rights defender title from United Nations Human Rights Council.
