The Lokayukta officials on Monday trapped a senior labour inspector red handed while accepting a bribe of ₹ 9,000 to issue a license to a hotel .
Based on the complaint by Dikshit,owner of a hotel in HBR Layout,a team led by Inspector Halappa Baladandi, laid a trap and arrested Bhopala.R,red handed while accepting the cash .
He was charged with Prevention of Corruption act and taken into custody for further investigation.
