A 22 year old physically challenged girl was abducted and raped by her child friend friend in high grounds police station limits on Wednesday.
The police based on a complaint swung into action and arrested the accused identified as Manu and efforts are on to secure his friends Raghavendra and,Kariyappa for abetting crime.
The victim was living in paying guest accommodation secured government job through physically challenged quota and started ignoring her child hood friend.
Manu who was close to her and claimed to have helped her agitated with his and decided to teach her a lesson.
As per the plan the accused Manu came in a car along with his friends took the victim out on the pretext of talk. Drove the car to Hiriyuru where he raped her.
The accused brought back the victim and warned her not to reveal it to anyone .
