n a tragic incident,a five-year-old boy left alone at home drowned in water sump in Ayyappa Nagar in K R Puram on Monday evening.
The deceased Subin,only son of couple from Nepal who had come to work four years and they lives in rented house in the second floor of the house.
Father of the boy who worked in hotel was away to work while mother was stating with the boy at home .
The incident occurred when mother went to buy grocery from a near-by shop leaving the boy alone.
Subin few minutes later came down in search of mother and slipped into the opened water sump.
The incident came to light when mother returned and find the boy was missing.
Soon the residents started searching and found the boy ‘s body in the sump.
The K R Puram police have registered a case of death due to negligence against the owner of the house for further investigation.
