he Banaswadi police on Thursday arrested a 21-year-old BBA graduate and his associates for robbing a mobile phone from a private firm employee on April 24.
The accused Pawan Appu,21 from HBR layout is a BBA graduate roped in his associate Xavair,26,moved around the area to identify people walking with phoners and rob them.
Using the modus operandi,the accused attacked Pushkar Kumar while he was walking near Lingarajapuram flyover .
Based on the complaint,the police stepped up vigil and track down the duo while they were wating for their prey .
The police have recovered the mobile phone they had robbed and further investigating to ascertain their possible involvement in other crimes .
