Officials of the Central Crime Branch on Thursday carried a series of raids at six places across the city and found 25 Bangladesh nationals staying illegally.
The raids were carried at Ramamurthynagar, Marathahalli,Bellanduru,Varthur and Hebbagodi areas where they staying in make shift houses and doing menial jobs like garbage collection and segregation, manual labourers and domestic helps .
The police have also detained five of the immigrants out of them three are facing criminal charges.
According to the police two of the accused have been arrested in a robbery case and were jailed.
The officials carried searches at their shed and recovered documents and mobile phones for further verification,Five of the accused who are part of the illegal immigration escaped and efforts are on to track them down.
