A 53-year-old advocate was killed when a speeding scooter knocked him down on High grounds junction on Monday.
The deceased Mariswamy BM,was on his way to court when the accused identified as Pallavi L,28,heading to market on her scooter crashed on to the scooter .
As a result Mariswamy fell on the road and sustained severe injuries.Passers-by rushed him to near-by hospital where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
The High grounds traffic police arrested Pallavi on death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving for further investigation.
