My dharma guides me in my approach to public service. Sunak stated that my wife is not only a great supporter for me, but a woman who is committed to public service, as no husband can get. Sunak is wooing the votes of Hindus in Britain through his temple visits.

Parties eye on ‘Hindu’ votes

In the last week before the general election in Britain, the leaders of the ruling and opposition parties are engaged in extensive campaigning. In this order, the main political parties focused on the Hindu voters there. As part of this, the Prime Minister, Conservative Party Leader Rishi Sunak and Labor Party Leader Keir Stormer are visiting Hindu temples there and trying to attract that group with their policies. As part of this, Labor Party leader Keir Starmer also visited another Swaminarayan temple in Kingsbury. He said that while developing strategic partnership with India, protection of Hindu temples and measures to face attacks against this group are included in their manifesto. According to 2021 statistics, there are estimated to be around 10 lakh Hindus in Britain. Among them, the number of voters will also be huge.
