After spending eight days in SIT custody,the Special Investigation team on Saturday produced former MP Prajwal Revanna before the 42th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court and remanded to judicial custody .
The SIT officials did not seek a further custody and escorted him to Parappana Agrahara Central Prison and handed over to the prison officials.
The SIT which is probing four cases including rape and sexual harassment made a submission before the court that they have recovered all the evidence including digital and call record details pertaining to the case .
Prajwal was arrested in the early hours of May 31 after he landed at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru from Germany’s Munich.
After he failed to answer multiple notices,a Blue Corner Notice was issued by Interpol.
Meanwhile Prajwal’s counsel submitted that Prajwal needed to be shifted to a private hospital in the backdrop of illness.
However,the court instructed him to submit a plea in this regard to jail authorities and after the consent obtained the matter will be taken up in the further hearing .
