Chief Minister Chandrababu said that the Jagan government has destroyed the brand image of the capital by vandalizing the Maravati . He expressed grief that even ten years after the partition, AP remained a state without a capital city. He declared that no one would say that he would change the capital except for the mindless people like Jagan. The Jagan government has announced that they will usher in a golden future from the area that has been reduced to ashes and restore the brand image of Amaravati. He expressed confidence that people and investors will regain confidence in Amaravati. On Wednesday, he released a white paper at the secretariat on the destruction done by the Jagan government in the capital in five years and explained it through a PowerPoint presentation.
Investors lost faith
Amaravati’s reputation has faded in the last five years. If bonds are issued in the Bombay Stock Exchange to raise funds for Amaravati before 2019, Rs. 2 thousand crores have been received within hours. At that time the rating agencies gave A+ and ‘AA’ ratings to Amaravati bonds. Now that rating has fallen to C, BB+,’ he expressed. He lamented that the youth are migrating due to the absence of a capital city that provides employment and the future of the future generations is ruined. ‘Jagan’s government has implemented a conspiracy to damage Amaravati in the name of three capitals. Where the works stopped there. The constructions made at the cost of thousands of crores of rupees were destroyed. The farmers and people of the capital held a movement for 1631 days. The Jagan government has filed illegal cases against the farmers who came forward and gave land for the future of the state. She committed severe harassment and oppression. The notification for acquisition of 1,197 acres of land in the capital has been withdrawn. The lease of 2,903 farmers was canceled and the lease of 4,422 was cancelled. The estimated cost of infrastructure construction work has been reduced to Rs.3 thousand crores. The Singaporean consortium that had contracted for the development of the startup area was thrown out on frivolous charges. They made innumerable complaints to the central government and prevented central aid from coming. All the flats in the CRDA Happiest project were booked in seconds. If that project is completed, CRDA would have got a profit of Rs.57.37 crores. But due to the management of Jagan’s government, now there will be a loss of Rs. 164.5 crore in that project,’ said Chandrababu.
Income of Rs. 20, 30 thousand crores
He said that at that time plans were made for the government to spend Rs. 50 thousand crores on infrastructure and constructions in the capital, and if it was implemented, the government would get Rs. 20-30 thousand crores in taxes. ‘Poor children who have studied in universities like SRM and Vit in the capital are getting jobs with a package of Rs. Had the capital construction continued.. many such prestigious educational institutions would have come up. In the capital, 8 thousand acres will be left with the government. The value of that land is Rs.10 crore per acre in 2019 itself. Had the capital construction continued, the value of an acre would have reached Rs.20 crore by now. Thus the government had assets worth Rs.1,60,000 crore. He stated that there would not have been a situation to look for funds for the construction of the capital. On this occasion, Chandrababu answered the questions asked by the reporters.

Will any legal action be taken without changing the capital?
That is definitely something to think about.
Have you set any targets for the completion of Amaravati construction?
It is not a building to set goals and build. It is not done by an individual or a company. City building is a continuous process that involves the participation of many people.
What about central government institutions that have taken places in the capital?
Out of 132 institutions, only five did not get places. We talked to them and started trying to convince them. At that time, our government allotted a place at Mangalagiri to the prestigious AIIMS. As Jagan’s government did not even provide water, AIIMS, which was supposed to have 950 beds, now has only 300 beds.
Will the Singapore consortium be invited again to develop the startup area?
If we brought the best organizations in the world for the development of Amaravati, the Jagan government drove them all away. It remains to be seen whether those companies will come back or not. We will try our best.
Will the rent payment deadline be extended for capital farmers?
We will think about it and take a decision to give them justice. Actions will be taken to remove the illegal cases filed by the Jagan government against the farmers. They all fought for five years to protect Amaravati. Donations were collected, properties were sold and legal battles were fought. We will definitely do justice to them.
What is the government’s thinking on R-5 zone?
It will be useful if any villagers are given a house there. In the R-5 zone, those who were given plots by the previous government, we will give plots and build houses to the deserving ones in their areas.
The mechanism is dull
Chandrababu flagged that all the systems have collapsed during Jagan’s government . ‘I have become the Chief Minister for the fourth time. But such a situation has never been seen before. When I took charge as CM for the first time, all the officers were very confident and enthusiastic. I became the CM for the second time in a row, so there was no difference. I became the chief minister for the third time after the division of the state. There was a mechanism to run despite the challenges. Now the mechanism is dull. Habits have changed. “The whole system is destroyed,” he said.
We will restore the brand image of Rajdhani
There is no one who is sadder than me to see the destruction of Ra Jadhani. During the foundation stone laying, I returned for two days in a helicopter and sprinkled holy water and mud on every inch of Amaravati. I thought that no evil forces should hinder the construction of the capital. No matter what we did, we could not save Amaravati from the evil spirits. Revive the ruined Amaravati brand image. During the visit to Delhi, we will talk to the central government about all aspects of the state’s reconstruction, including Amaravati. We are partners in NDA. We will start the reconstruction of the state with the help of the centre
