20-year-old girl student and her 25-year-old male friend found missing since three days found dead in a lake on NICE road in Thalaghattapura on Wednesday.
The deceased Anjana,pursuing BBA and resident of Anjanapura and Srikanth,25, resident of Thalaghattapura were said to be in relationship and opposed by their families.
The duo had left behind a suicide note citing they are responsible for their extreme step before jumping into the lake by tying their hands with a rope.
Both their families have filed a missing complaint with the police.The incident came to light when passers-by found the dead body in floating in the lake and informed the police .
The police along with the fire and emergency service personnel rushed to the spot and pulled out the bodies with the tied hands.
The deceased Anjana had also left a video message on her mobile stating that they are facing severe opposition for the relationship and decided to end life .
The Thalaghattapura police have registered a case of un natural death and awaiting post mortem report to ascertain the exact cause of death.
