Today, Delhi: AP Chief Minister Chandrababu stated that his aim is to rebuild Andhra Pradesh, which was destroyed during Jagan’s rule in the last five years. He said that since the people of the state have given power to the NDA, the leaders of all the parties will work together and try to fix the state. At the end of his visit to Delhi, he spoke passionately to national media representatives on Friday night. Even though you are a key partner in NDA, why didn’t you take more posts, did you ask for the post of Deputy Speaker?

Chandrababu answered these questions in his own style. He said that although TDP was a partner in many coalition governments at the Centre, it never sought positions and worked by giving priority to the interests of the state. Even though it is a regional party, they have supported it keeping national interests in mind. He reminded that until now seven ministerial posts were given to them in Vajpayee’s government but they did not take them and they took the speaker’s post for the stability of the government. They said that they have not asked for any position yet, they have taken the two positions offered without denying it. They said with a smile that they are happy with both of them and it is sad for the media to be like that. He said that he will work for the reconstruction of the state for the next five years and told the same to Prime Minister Modi and the Union Ministers and asked them to let the Center help them. What else did he say?

Vast resources in the state

“Andhra Pradesh has more resources than any other state in the south. Krishna and Godavari rivers flow through the state. Godavari itself has surplus water. More than 3000 TMC of water is entering the sea every year. If these are properly utilized, besides meeting the state’s cultivation, drinking water and industrial needs, it will be possible to provide it to other states in the south. Diaphragm wall was damaged in Polavaram project due to negligence during previous Jagan regime. Now the cost of constructing a new wall will be double the previous cost. We have not yet reached the stage of approval of revised estimates for this project. As it is a national project, the center will take care of that matter. The vibrancy of Amaravati has decreased to some extent due to Jagan’s rule in the last five years. We aim to increase it. 135 government offices will come up in Amaravati. Apart from that, we will complete the construction of important infrastructure like roads and bridges. Assembly, High Court and Secretariat structures, which are considered iconic buildings, will be completed as soon as possible. Buildings which are currently in various stages will be completed and put into use. Skill census is going to be taken up in the state. Based on the results of this, we will give skill training to the people and provide job and employment guarantees,” said Chandrababu.

Both the states should be balanced

AP CM Chandrababu said that he hopes that Saturday’s meeting with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will be positive for solving the problems of both the Telugu states. He said that even if Revanth Reddy gives priority to the interests of Telangana, he will give priority to the interests of both the states and his intention is still to achieve equality between the two states. He said that his preference is that the people of the two brotherly states should come together and move forward even if they are separated. He said that investors are coming to Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation of the state, but everyone is asking what if the ghost comes again. But he assured that the devil will be controlled and you need not fear anything. Now they have opened the doors to investors. In response to a question, he said that he must attend the World Economic Forum conference in Davos next January.

Target two years and take up construction: Piyush Goyal with Chandrababu

It is learned that Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal told Chandrababu Babu that instead of waiting for five years to complete the important constructions in Amaravati, it would be better if it was completed in two years. It is reported that Piyush Goyal took him to the top floor and showed him the central vista when he met Chandrababu Babu in the newly constructed Ministry of Commerce building of the Union Government on Thursday. It is reported that he is of the opinion that in the same way, the construction of iconic buildings in Amaravati should be completed within two years and people should be able to come and see them in the third year, because of which common people will feel connected with the capital.
